The flower bloom time has been off this year. We are still so far behind on rainfall, even after a few downpours at the end of May. Many plants are struggling, some are blooming later, and some are hardly putting out any flowers at all.
In a typical June we can see buttonbush, tick-trefoils, St. John’s-worts, black-snakeroots, sourwood, large buttonweed, pencil-flowers, evening primrose, and more.
Let me know what you’re seeing where you are!
