What has been blooming on the trail for the first two weeks of April? Here’s a list of new flowers that I’ve seen recently:

First monarch butterfly sighting of 2026

The butterflies and dragonflies are starting to come out. I saw my first monarch butterfly of the year last week. I’m starting to see more snakes on the trails, too. A Canada goose has been sitting on her nest at one of the retention ponds. I can’t wait to see the goslings!

What are you seeing on the trails right now?
