Hatcher Creek Greenway Map

The Hatcher Creek Greenway runs parallel to Hatcher Creek, starting at Morrisville Community Park and through the wooded wetlands to Crabtree Creek Greenway. A portion of the trail is a wooden plank bridge over the portion of the area that tends to flood after it rains. The flat trail connects to Morrisville Square and Morrisville Market shopping areas.

Entrance Points: Davis Drive at Morrisville Market, Morrisville Community Park, behind Morrisville Market on the southeast side, Claret Lane east of Blithe Place, Kudrow Lane dead end, Kudrow Lane south of Millet Drive, Low Country Court cul-de-sac, southeast end of Misty Groves Circle, southeast corner of Morrisville Square, Morrisville Carpenter Road at Town Hall Drive, Crabtree Creek Greenway.

Where to Park: Morrisville Community Park, Kudrow Lane dead end, Morrisville Square, Morrisville Market

Connection to Other Trails: Hatcher Creek Greenway seemlessly connects to Crabtree Creek Greenway just north of Crabtree Crossing Parkway. Use the Town Hall Drive connector to safely cross Morrisville Carpenter Road using the signaled crosswalk, then walk north about 0.1 mile to access the Indian Creek Greenway. Catch the Morrisville Smart Shuttle at Morrisville Parkway by Crosstimbers Apartments to connect to 15 different locations around town.

Bicycle Friendly? Yes

Stroller Friendly? Yes. There is about 0.3 miles of wooden plank bridge that might be a bit bumpy for sensitive sleepers.

Benches for Resting: There are benches on each section of the trail. The 0.3 mile wooden plank bridge section does not have benches.
