Asiatic Dayflower

Flower has 2 large blue petals and one small white petal. Each flower blooms in the morning for a single day.

Broadleaf Arrowhead

White, 3 petaled flowers. Male and female flowers are on the same scape, the male flowers on the upper portion, the female flowers on the lower portion. Male flowers have bushy yellow centers, female flowers have mounded green centers. The leaves are 12 inches long, held above water, and are shaped like arrowheads.

Bulltongue Arrowhead

White, 3 petaled flowers. Male and female flowers are on the same scape, the male flowers on the upper portion, the female flowers on the lower portion. Male flowers have bushy yellow centers, female flowers have mounded green centers. The leaves are 4-16 inches long, rising out of the water.

Common Yarrow

Clusters of small white flowers. The leaves are fern-like.

Dead Nettle

Purple-pink flowers. The top petal is hairy and hooded. The 2 lower lip petals are lighter in color and have purple spots. There are 3-6 flowers on end of the stem.

Small, light purple or pink 3 petaled flower growing in between the leaves.

Southern Crownbeard

Flower heads in a large, open, branching cluster. Flowers have a domed center disk of greenish-yellow tubular florets. The flowers are sparse and are not evenly arranged around the head of the flower. This makes the plant look like it is uneven or off balance.

Virginia Dayflower

Flowers in crowded terminal clusters. They have 3 kidney-shaped petals. Flowers open in the morning and close in the afternoon.
