The flowers are fluffy white clusters at the end of the stem. The basal leaves are gray-green on the top and white on the bottom, very hairy.

Running Five-Fingers
Each plant has a single flower. Each of the 5 petals is narrow toward the center and rounded at the tip. The center of the flower is flattened and surrounded by many stamens.

White to pale yellow pea-shaped flowers with purple spots in the center. One to four flowers cluster in between the leaves.
