Early Goldenrod

Flowers are mostly on one side of the stem. The rays around the center disk are unevenly spaced and do not open at the same time. It is one of the earliest blooming goldenrods, beginning in July.

Eastern Anglepod

Star-shaped green or yellowish green flowers with a purple center.

This goldenrod grows in clumps of unbranched stems, with the flower clusters on one side. The top of the flower cluster tends to bend.

Yellow flower petals have slightly notched tips. The flower has a brownish-yellow center cone.

Elmleaf Goldenrod

Arching clusters of flowers on one side of the branch. The wrinkled leaves are thin and not hairy.

European Bindweed

A twining vine with funnel-shaped white flowers that have a yellow throat.

Evening Primrose

Cross-shaped flower with pale yellow, heart-shaped petals. The flower opens in the evening and closes during the heat of the day.

False Nettle

Clusters of tiny green or greenish-white flowers growing in spikes between leaves.
